Basic Obedience Foundation Class

Imagine your dog staying where you ask your dog to. Your dog listens and comes every time you call. Walking nicely on leash beside you as you explore the world together? No problem! Leaving items alone that you ask your dog to? Wonderful! All this and more your dog will be able to happily and easily do through the skills and the techniques learned in the Basic Obedience Foundation Class. Our goal is to teach the basic obedience commands that you can use in every day, real world situations.

​In the Basic Obedience Foundation Class, your dog will learn in a fun and engaging manner the following commands to be used for every day living:

• ​Sit
• Down
• Stand
• Stay
• Come When Called (Recall)
• Loose Leash Walking
• Leave It
• ​Four on the Floor

​
​Classes are taught using positive reinforcement (no prong, choke collars, etc.)
With class size limited to four students for indoor classes and six for outdoor classes, you and your dog will receive the individualized attention you need and deserve to learn the basic obedience commands essential to become a well-behaved dog.
